Mousumi Johnson supports the Global Sales Team’s business development efforts and is integral in the planning of Benchmark’s Destination Experiences. Mousumi brings 30 years of sales knowledge and has worked developing corporate, association, SMERF and transient sales in several different capacities.

Prior to Benchmark, Mousumi developed markets for both Hyatt Hotels and Wyndham Hotels. “My favorite aspect of Benchmark is the people I get to work with every day. We are all so passionate about what the company represents as an industry leader.”

When Mousumi isn’t on the phones planning Benchmark’s next big event, she’s out to dinner in Dallas where she resides. Mousumi is a true aficionado of the city’s culinary scene. However, she’ll admit to being as happy entertaining in a Michelin-rated restaurant as she is standing outside a neighborhood food truck with her husband, three kids and two dogs. She's lived in four countries: India (birthplace), England, Canada, and USA, and three continents: Asia, Europe and North America, and spent her childhood years playing the piano accordion.
