
John MacMullen drives business development for the Global Sales team by creating new and innovative methods for our sales professionals to connect with meeting planners across the country. John specializes in meeting dynamics, with extensive experience in event creation, conference planning, sourcing, and logistics.
Before joining the Global Sales team, he spent over a decade as a sales leader with Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, where he directed sales and marketing for world-class golf and beach resorts throughout Florida and the Caribbean. He remains active in industry leadership and currently serves on the board of the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC).
Affectionately known as “Jmac” among colleagues, John was raised in the Virgin Islands in a family renowned within the luxury yachting community. A former competitive scholastic and collegiate sailor, he is equally comfortable on the water as he is in the boardroom. Today, John resides in South Florida with his wife and daughter.
