WE EXPECT YOU TO PICK UP YOUR COMPUTER AND PAY THE DIAGNOSTIC OR REPAIR FEES ONCE OUR
WORK IS COMPLETE. ANY COMPUTER OR EQUIPMENT LEFT AT OUR SHOP FOR OVER 30 DAYS
AUTOMATICALLY BECOMES PROPERTY OF PYRAMID COMPUTER WORKS UNLESS PRIOR
ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE. YOU WILL BE SENT A NOTICE DURING THE 30 DAY PERIOD REMINDING YOU
OF OUR POLICY.
Laptop Diagnostics: $36.00
Laptop DC Jack Repair or laptop motherboard replacement: $149.99 labor plus cost of jack ( if needed ).
Desktop Diagnostics Level I: $27.00
Involves the testing of hardware and/or software for failure, and does not include any attempt
to remedy the problems that are found. Diagnostic charges will be waived if we do the repair work.
Desktop Diagnostics Level II: $36.00
Involves all of Level I plus the removal and testing of hardware for failure and does not include any
attempt to remedy the problems that are found. Diagnostic charges will be waived if we do the repair
work.
System Restore (without reformatting hard drive and without reinstalling the operating system.
Download and install all available updates. Fine tune, remove junk files, adware and spyware): $49.00
System Restore (includes reformatting hard drive and reinstalling the operating system. Download and
install all available Windows updates, fine tuning and configuration): $75.00
Note: System Restore pricing does not include reinstalling a printer, scanner or any software other than
the operating system. Also if you you have a network installed, the above prices DO NOT include
networking the computers back together. There will be an additional charge for networking as follows:
2 computers: $36.00 3 - 5 computers: $59.00. We will network your computers back together but we
will not be responsible for any software ( other than Windows ) that does not connect via the network.
You will need to contact your software vendor for help in doing that.
Data Recovery: minimum $250.00. We will attempt to recover your lost data from your hard drive. We
cannot guarantee that the data recovered will still work. Some files recovered may be in poor condition
and may not work.
Backup Data to CD: $15.00 ( one CD ) $25.00 ( 2 or more CD's )
Computer System Setup in home or office: $36.00 (each additional computer $27.00).
Virus/Spyware/Adware Removal: $36.00
Printer/Scanner installation: $27.00 for each device.
Standard SIMM or DIMM chips Memory Installation: $27.00
Internal Modem Installation: $36.00
External Modem Installation: $27.00
Hard Drive Installation: $36.00
Transferring data from one hard drive to another: $36.00
We cannot guarantee that transferred data will operate correctly.

This service applies only to the physical installation of the network card into the computer.
Configuration of the card for an external network must be performed on-site and there is an additional
charge as previously mentioned above.
Software Installation:
These prices do not include installation of an operating system.
Windows 95/98/XP format: $27.00
Windows 3.x format: $36.00
DOS (3.3 or later): $45.00
All prices listed on this page are for labor only and do not include parts
or shipping costs. The labor prices shown are for in-shop. If we come to your home or business to pick
up your computer and return it to you there will be an additional charge of $15.00. If you also want your
computer set back up the charge for that is also $15.00. Note: this does not include networking.
We use only high quality, brand name, new factory warranted parts
for our repairs - no grey-market or used parts.
Minimum Bench Charge is $27.
Minimum charge to come to your home or office to do repair or diagnostics in the home or office: $27.
Some brands of computers may incur a surcharge of $27, depending on what the problem is.
Hardware you purchase and bring
to us incurs an installation surcharge of $15.

The labor rates shown are a general guideline. Our labor rates are subject to change or modification
without prior written or verbal notice. Final labor charges may vary if unexpected problems arise.
Note: On software installations, Pyramid Computer Works guarantees that the software has been
installed properly, that the software performs in the manner it was intended, the overall system
functions and it is within the specifications set forth by the software manufacturer. We make every effort
to make sure that the software functions the way it was intended in a given system. All software that
Pyramid Computer Works installs, configures or that is set up in a system has been tested in a
professional manner over a given time frame consistent with it’s intended use. We will not install
software that does not meet our standards. When the customer installs additional software the customer
assumes the liability of the performance of the given software and also any changes in the operation
and performance of the machine which has been caused by installing additional software or hardware.
Therefore, we cannot guarantee any software installation for more than 72 hours from the time the
customer receives the system back.
PRIVACY NOTICE: We respect the right to your privacy and any personal information your computer
contains. We make absolutely no effort to snoop into your personal data that is contained on your
computer.
